Doesn't even sound right.
Went to auto part store, and the only oil they said they had said "Euro turbo engines"

Surely there's an Amsoil that's better than stock ?
Thanks,

That's a winner cause my truck is a clickin away when it starts, not for long , but noticeable for sure at startup.olyelr wrote:I went with amsoil as well. I just had a buddy who has an auto garage get it for me. I think it was up around $90 with the filter and oil, but cant really remember the exact number.
I will say that after switching from the factory oil to amsoil, the motor seemed to quiet down, especially on a initial startups.
I could be wrong. I was turned off a long time ago, never came back around, I am all for any synthetic quality oil (Amsoil, Royal Purple, Penzoil, Mobil 1etc.)MikeKey wrote:Does amsoil still have it's pyramid scheme? I usually just order it directly from the site these days.
I like Amsoil and PureOne Gold filters. Dunno why, just do. I was running Royal Purple in the 5.7 Hemi. I just felt like treating the PW with white gloves. We'll see how long that lasts.
My dealership also skips the Mopar bottle and just sells Penzoil. I can't remember what their price is, but I get a better deal online. I buy it a couple cases at a time on Amazon.waldo wrote:My dealer sells cases of the 0-40 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. I don't think they even stock it in the Mopar bottles. I put a Mobil 1 extended something or other filter on it this time.

Just fill it until it reaches the top of the dip stick tube and then dump the rest down the side of the truck, right? Was it the three or four gallon jug? I always forget which.DamageWagon wrote:I just use Fluid Film and Wix filters in my engine. I have the 5.7 though, not sure if the 6.4 is picky...

I like that on cold mornings some of it slips past the rings and comes out with the water vapor. Keeps the bed nice and lubed up. Tailgate never squeaks now.Reloaderguy wrote:Just fill it until it reaches the top of the dip stick tube and then dump the rest down the side of the truck, right? Was it the three or four gallon jug?
