It's a 91 hallmark ute. Painted it gray last summer. Gonna start updating the interior this year.

Very Nice, Cruz. How does the weight feel up top? I wonder if there is a big difference in the ones that collapse down, vs's your style.....

That's what I grew up camping in. My dad had a 1970 Ford F-250 Highboy Camper Special. I loved camping it the truck camper.

Thanks.
I'd have to say I'm very happy with the handling. The PW's payload is 2200 lbs. and the camper's dry weight is only 1,145 lbs.
I don't put anything heavy in the upper cabinets ( hats, potato chips, etc.), the only real weight is the structure itself vs the lifting mechanisim and tenting material on a pop-up. Most of my heavy stuff like pots and pans, tools and recovery gear, I keep down low on the camper's floor or in the back seat of the PW. The only drawback to the extra height is over head obstacles like tree branches. Wind drag on the highway is VERY minimal.
In the pic below I drew a line to show roughly the difference between my hard-side vs a pop-up...

I have to say I love the look of a PW with a camper on it! 

I think that if PW's are still around when I retire I would get one with a camper and head out exploring for months on end. My wife on the other hand..........
Loving my 3/4 ton version of my old Jeep TJ!!!!!

Not a truck camper but just picked this beauty up this weekend. 2008 Fleetwood Cobalt lifted for off roadiness. Thinking about bigger wheels/tires to give the axle some more clearance and get it level with the truck. Matches the truck nice too! :D

Nice trailer Gunni' , all you really need to get the trailer to ride level would be another ball mount with less drop.
I like the higher ground clearance you already have. Although I've never pulled my Coleman over any hard core trails, I have been over some pretty nasty fire roads in the Sierras with no problems, even with the little 12" wheels on it.

Thanks Cruz, we are really excited to use it this weekend. No more tent! I know.. I need a different hitch to get it level. Was thinking a bit bigger rim/tire combo would get the axle further up off the ground and also make the camper look more badass  I have seen a few around with that mod going on and they do look good.

I've got used Four Wheel Camper last year. It's due for some remodeling. Been off the truck for long time. Here is a pic when I picked it up in Northern California
