On the 6.4 is there any mods where it draws through fender or to box itself to help airflow at WOT. Thanks

The factory airbox does draw through the inner fender.

A bigger hole will allow more air flow. Also you can make cardboard wind deflectors to enhance the flow direction using masking tape to hold them in place.

You can also use a 3 in hole saw to cut out an airway at the bottom of the airbox and run airduct hose from the hole to the to the front of the vehicle. You'll need to buy a few things to make it look cosmetically good. I did that on my last truck and it worked pretty good.

My Airbox already had an inlet that ran into the fender on my 2015. Before even adding the AEV intake.

More likely for airflow control. Probably a good thing.
