Are you saying not to slam into a moderately sharp 2' berm with flatland on both sides at 30mph? Is there another way?

Not recommend. You may or may not end up with two front flats and 3 bent wheels.....and feel like you got punched in the nose! I may or may not be talking from experience, lol.

Can the 2016, 2017's be shifted "manually" ? Or is there just a "D" for drive ? Can they be held in a gear when climbing a long hill like Eisenhower Pass ? So they don't keep upshifting & downshifting constantly, like my 04' Ram 2500 did ?

Yes, use your +/- control on your shifter.

Yes, use your +/- control on your shifter.
It will still shift down - just wont go to a higher gear above your "+" setting. (Twin doesn't use 5th or 6th) :o

He's saying that the +/- button only lets you limit the highest gear available to the transmission. If you have it set on 4, the truck can still downshift as it deems necessary.

I thought that was Utah, but that red rock is unmistakable! Moapa Valley, Valley of Fire in Nevada.

We've driven there! I've been on those trails.
