How do I get that darn engine cover off?

Pull up, and it should pop off.

Mine has 2 bolts in front then just lifts/pops off.

I have mine off my 5.7 if you want a pic. There are 2 holes with rubber bushings in them that posts go into in the bottom and 2 posts sticking out the back that line up with a bracket on the back.

Put a pulley on tree trunk directly in front of the truck, then one on a limb above the engine compartment, hook the winch to it. :lol:

1. Take it off
2. Flip it over to use as bolt tray
3. Sucks at being a bolt tray, throw it away
