If you end up in a position where you do have to trade it in, they likely won't give you much towards your upgrades, at least in my experience. Which leads me to my ulterior motives... I am in Gonzales for at least the next 6 months working the Motiva pipeline project. I'm living at the apartments across I-10 from Cabela's. If you want to sell any of your after market gear, like wireless winch remote or light bar, PM me please! I'm a '15 so i don't think i can unload it all, like the programmer, from you; but I'd be happy to pay a fair price for anything I can use.
