Nice clear thinking on the 4-hi shift.
Hey now. Some of us like being backwoods.

Unfortunately I haven't had my truck long enough to run into any of those types of experiences.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

lastmanalliance wrote:Hey guys. So I moved to Tulsa about 3 months ago and have yet to see another power wagon. It's all the guys here just want a huge lifted diesel truck and they care nothing for how the truck operates or how it's gonna get a job done. Does anyone else feel this way? I feel like I'm isolated down here in the south. I have no one to wheel with or go fishing or hiking or camping. So in other words no fun for this lonely power wagon owner. I mean I have friends but they are all obsessed with the Cummins and powerstrokes haha. You guys should see them try to follow me out by the Arkansas river. It's hilarious. I've pulled 3 powerstrokes and 2 Cummins out of the mud and sand. Anyways I don't mean to ramble on like some adolescent teenage girl. So here's what I'm asking . Is there anyone who lives around Tulsa!?!?!!
I hear ya man. My dad is the only other p.wagon owner I know and he's pretty soft with it lol only bought one because he played with my winch twice and realized his life as a truck owner would be over if he did not own one with a factory warrantied winch and lockers lol so finding people to wheel with or even know what a p.wagon is besides a graphics package is few and far between

 I swear I'm sick of diesel guys & their "I've got a dually" crap. If I don't see another diesel truck it will be too soon! I had a bad-ass F250 king ranch diesel, because everyone said they are a "must" living in Alaska, and that truck was the biggest temperamental, dirty, loud, uneven, expensive, money pit, maintenance dumpster fire I've ever owned. Unless you're heavy hauling daily, they are not necessary, or the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I'll take the PW any day & take my chances if I have to occasionally haul a heavy load.

LOL! I've owned 2 Dodge 2500 4x4 diesel trucks and they were both crazy great trucks! Honestly, I wish I kept the 2006 as it average better than 20 mpg. The 2012 was super, but it's fuel mileage and oil change interval was killing me in the city. (Although the mpg was actually better than my 2013 Power Wagon... Dam it!)

LOL part 2! I've also owned a 2010 and 2013 Power Wagon. They were both crazy great trucks too!

I haul heavy 1 or 2 times a year. I tow a 5000 lb boat/trailer and a 4000 lb travel trailer. I drive in SoCal traffic. (the new diesels hate stop and go) For driving in traffic, off roading, ease of maintenance, and pure off road capability and recovering buddies with Fords/Chevys/Toyotas/Nissans/Land Rovers/Range Rovers who are stuck or better yet broken down.... Priceless. LOL!

I especially love the fellers with open differentials when they are stuck on a wet grass hill....:) I know, that's kind of mean!

I have seen one other power wagon but it was a winter texan so that don't count and i have seen a great copy cat version of my truck, two tone with red stripe and power wagon logos but it is a diesel. Not holding my breathe to see another one, as others have said I sure see an abundance of Raptors.

I live in a town of 7,000 people... Mostly oil field asses with lifted diesels. After I bought my wagon an had to rescue a few of said riggers there are now 3 other wagons in town! Pisses me off haha I was the original trend starter

In contrast...
I live in a town of about 10,000 people (a few thousand college students)
A guy about a 1/4 mile away has a 2013, My Ram dealer himself bought a 2014 last year that came in on the same trailer load as mine. That is his daily driver... He sold three other 2014 Power Wagons last year - none lasted on the lot for more than a couple of days and it was gone. And there are a few 3rd gens floating around the area. So - I end out crossing paths with a Power Wagon about every other day.
We all smile and wave... I think we've all been too busy to get together and plan some fun.

There's definately more gassers than stink pots in this area - perhaps that's why the Power Wagons are popular here.

Less than 30 miles away is San Jose and the whole SF Bay Area , there are three local 3Gs in SC and I've seen maybe ten 3Gs over the last 10 years. The only 4G that I've seen was a Park Ranger and I've never seen a 4.5G .

Well, for me I live in a goofy military beach town and I know of at least 2 3gs and a 2013 black and red one just like mine.
I do know of a fake lifted ctd mega cab in the county. A while back I was driving my 1972 VW bus and I asked him what happend to his stock tailgate. He was kinda surprized and I followed up with "I thought power wagons only came with gas motors because of the wieght and size of the ctd would not accomodate the factory winch. And btw, where is yours". Dude was not happy. He gave me the bird and floored it. Epic!

Part of the reason I want a Power Wagon is for the capability, always wanted one since they first came out. I have a 2002 5.9 cummins with performance package and only 22,000 miles on it reason low mileage is only use it to tow a horse trailor. Love it but for hunting it's extremely loud and I don't want mesquite to eat the paint and it's heavy. I want a power wagon for the offroad capability and too stand out from the crowd. I talk allot about the Power Wagons and spend allot of time researching them and looking at all the cool pictures yall post. I tell my buddys about them and they just kinda blow me off. They just don't know about them and advise me to buy a dam toyota because that's what they drive. I'll always drive a dodge ram period.
