Took a wrong turn in a parking lot near Universal Studios Orlando, Florida and saw this lurking. First 2014-15 I'd seen in person around here. Several 4th gen's and 3rd gen's, but first 5 the gen. This on has the 6.4L.

Is it a cummins badge? Took a shot of mine, same angle, looks the same. And the resolution on that pic isn't clear enough to tell

Can you even get a power wagon without the 6.4 anymore?

No worries!! The new badging is the same as the rest of the heavy trucks use. I've bought the older chrome "POWER WAGON" decals that will be going on once the weather warms up, and removing the RAM 2500 hd badging. I like the older chrome side badges. Call me crazy!

Who knew they made a mega cab Power Wagon. I went around the front and I see that they eliminated the winch likely due to the excessive weight of the Mega Cab. The owner had no problem with the decal placed on the tailgate since it was a 5.7 Hemi after all. I did give him a tour of mine to point out the difference but he seemed unimpressed.

Geeze guys grow up. What difference does it make what someone wants to do with their own truck? It doesn't make his truck any more capable or make yours any less than what it is. It's just a truck. If your self image is dependent on your vehicle then you have other issues.....

Well its true.

I see sooo many people whining and moaning about someone putting a Rubicon sticker on their Sport model. But, if it makes them feel good, who really cares? If there is a little 4 cylinder car with a hemi badge on it it's funny, but when there is a cummins truck with a power wagon sticker on it everyone gets bent out of shape.

Uh,,,I think you're missing the point then. I or probably anyone else on here gives a shit less about what some yahoo has or doesn't have, and care even less if they put goofy shit all over it. I just don't understand how grown men buy truck "x" & then bedazzle the shit out of it to make it look like truck "y"---uh I think those are the folks who use their truck to feel better about themselves.

Same reason why I dont get people putting medals or badges they didn't earn in the service on their uniforms.

I get what you are laying down. It is goofy, by all means. But, its all about personal preference. I think a lot of wheels people put on there truck look way worse than the factory ones... but to each their own.

And about the metals/badges... do people really do that? At that kind of level?!

Yes people do. Google "stolen valor act" it's sad.

I agree, adding wheels or chrome doodads, or blacking everything out or doing a total badge delete is exactly personalizing, and like you said, to each their own. But I think purposely trying to make anything, not just a truck, appear as something else, just bugs me, & is borderline disingenuous, which approaches an integrity issue with me.

What if one of these guys tried selling their badge princesses with some vague sort of reference to being a Cummins PW model, or a mega cab PW etc. because of all their added badges, & someone who doesn't know a lot about the different trim line packages honestly thinks their buying a PW, & maybe pays more based on a PW blue book value rather than what they really are. Hmm seems like an integrity issue to me.

Found one out in BC, over Christmas, of course, in the dark. It's the mineral Gray that my 1/2 was, still one of my favourite colors, so much so that that's why I powdercoated my wheels in it.
