Seems about right... I just installed some 315/70/17's, so we'll see what I can do with those once i get the speedo recalibrated. I hope to be able to stay in the same speed range with a little less rpm on the highway...

Bottom line I don't think any of us bought these trucks to try to get great mpg's... So I can't bitch too much, I just came out of a diesel that only got 11-12 around town and 15-17 on the highway. My Pwr Wgn is getting a solid 11 in town and 14-16 on the hwy. And with the cheapest unleaded a dollar cheaper than diesel this truck is saving me 31.00 every fill up, aside from all the other crap that goes into owning a newer diesel truck... On a side note I know guys driving stock Tacoma's that are only seeing 15-17 so its not all bad...

I specifically bought the 2014 for the MDS - no other HD truck gets this good of "gas" mileage. Diesels don't count...

x3 on that one. I know several people who struggle to get 15 mpg average in their mid 90s all the way up to a new '15 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks, gas and diesel. And if Im very easy on the pedal I can average that (as i am right now) pretty easily. And that's with a truck that weighs way more, bigger tires and lower gears. Not bad at all if you ask me, especially after having all the extras this truck has over all the others.

Hey guys new to the forum. I just picked up a 14 wagon.
I have 700 miles on it so far last tank the truck did 10 mpg city with 5 minute freeway drive to work. That is better then my old built and lifted duramax around town so i am happy. It seems to me when you go 60 and the mds kicks on you can pull good mileage mine says 20 to 21

My mileage seems to be getting worse. At 3500 miles my average is down to 11.2, and that's with some limited highway driving mixed in. I'm guessing my "around town" mileage is in the 10-11 range. The good news is that gas is down to $2.79/gallon in my area.

Yeah me too, peculiar how my mileage is decreasing as the engine breaks-in. I've got 5500 miles on it now & I'm seeing in the 13s highway right now

I was getting 10.2 to 10.5 with winter fuel. I just installed the Diablo Trinity fuel economy tune and it has already climbed to 12. I will update after a month and see what happens. Mostly city type driving to and from work.
