I think they only go down to the frame rail. 1500s go all the way down below the frame

Yeah, they stop at the frame rail. The old ones came down alongside the frame. My '15 Laramie has them.

Hmm, so this is a mystery. Some 14's came with them & done did not, yet it's not an available option either. So does this mean it's a dealer installed option? Are dealers offering these as an option, are they automatically installing them & charging YOU a premium for them, or are they a freebie? Anyone have a part #?

I think there is some confusion on this (at least there was for me). I looked and my 2014 actually does have them but like Graveltravels they only come down to the top of the frame. On my 2011 they came down a lot lower.
Loving my 3/4 ton version of my old Jeep TJ!!!!!

Compared to the dinky stock ones I took off, the best part about them is the front area of the wheel well is covered now. no more chock full of snow and mud undercarriage issues. Think it will help with the bare (primered) metal rust program as well.
2005 Black Pow Wagon mods: DT Profab Steering Brace, Gibson superflow catback single exhaust system, Locker Bypass, Moog ball joints (see how long they last), New OEM track bar bushings, T-steering upgrade w/ Bilstein 5100 steering damper, Power everything, Heated leather seats, (keeps the better half happy), Rear window defrost, Bilstein 5100 shocks, 35x12.5x17 Toyo AT2 Extremes, Customized H2 alloy wheels, Original rock rails with family friendly steps welded on, Tri fold tonneau, Hi-lift extreme jack, Tool box along with all the essential PW gear. New winch cable, Winch TPS bypass, Cardan joint grease zerk discovery. New front grille assembly. Magnesium Chloride under coating.

If you ever happen to see me running somewhere, you should start running too. :)

When I bought my '05 new (without the liners), Dodge had a separate accessory brochure with stuff that could not be ordered on the truck, but that could be purchased from the parts department for user or dealer installation. That brochure had things in it like wheel well liners, bed liners, tool boxes, rock rails, etc.
