If it's about Power Wagons, all generations, this is where it'll go. This is the original PWR Forum Power Wagon Technical Discussion Section. And this includes everything that doesn’t fit in any one of the other categories related to the truck goes here!

Ken,

Can you create an account at DT? It will be easier when providing links and such, to threads over there. It's a bit tediuous to copy/paste pics, info, etc, where if you had an acct, I can just post a link to the thread.

Ace, I am now registered on DT, but I know I'll still spend most all of my time over here on PWR with my own kind of peeps!

Good. And I understand you'll be here, that's fine. At least now you can see what's going on over there. I think you should also create a sig, post a few posts, after 5 posts you can post pics of your truck. And of course spend time here!

At least you will now see my thread with the diff plate requests.

Checking to see if this diff guard is available?

quote="Ken G."]The new rear diff skid plate is on my truck!! It turned out great....can't wait to test it! Got my rock sliders, too. Iron Pig did a great job. Check out my post under the Member Builds section for info and photos. Plus, I'll need to get a list started to get numbers of how many :winchmob: folks might want to get one of these rear diff skid plates. I'll test it out, then pull it off so that they can get laser cut production models made. We can do a group buy for $ savings, too. Iron Pig would be the first shop to produce rear diff protection expressly for our Power Wagons![/quote]

Looks like it's been 3years since the prototype(?) was made and no info so I'm assuming this project is dead. Last night I took some cardboard and tried to mock up a glide plate. I found 2 attachment points for the rear section of the plate, but cant figure out a front attachment point. There is a large rectangle shaped protusion on he drivers side of the diff which would eliminate the use of a u-bolt. Maybe a clamp that conforms to that shape would work? Any ideas on this?

KenG, the guy who was doing this, just kinda disappeared. Shame. Nice guy. Interesting life experiences, shall we say.

Maybe you could contact Iron Pig and ask if they still have the file, plans, whatever.

I think Kenny G went overseas. He's an Army contractor. That would explain why he's been busy.
