FINALLY changed front Diff fluid.

Post by Fireman78 » Thu Sep 25, 2014 11:50 am

Well, after 7 years, 110,000 miles and countless horrendous adventures, I finally changed my front diff fluid. It wasn't pretty. But it also wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, especially since I submerged it completely a few times. The metal shavings between the magnet and the little locker sensor were so thick, it literally looked like one solid piece of silver. Sorry forgot to take a pic. (Now my locker switch works great too). I am so impressed by the toughness of my Power Wagon, even with the abuse I sometimes dish out. . I'd even go as far as to call it love.

Ok, carry on fellas. Just had to mention this.
Enjoy this life, cause it's all we're getting.

Sounds like me, I had over 95k on mine before I changed it. I put Filtermags in there though when I did this time.

This what mine looked like

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.
