Hey guys I'm looking into putting thurens control arms and his lift shackle on my truck, it already has a leveling kit on it from previous owner (which by the way never believed in rotating tires). I've had bad intentions ever since seeing the carli power wagon. so heres the question, would you guys put on the 13.50s like he is running on the carli wagon or just stick with the 12.50s?
it will be on the stock wheels as I see no reason to upgrade. thanks ahead of time

You might run into issues with places being willing to mount a 13.5" wide tire on the stock wheels since Toyo's website says the minimum wheel diameter they recommend is 8.5" and PW stock wheels are 8" wide

H2 wheels solve that problem, but may cause rubbing on the fender flares. I never had any issue with Toyo 35" M/Ts on stock PW wheels, but now I get just a bit of rubbing with Toyo 35" AT2s on H2 wheels. Stock suspension on my '05.the minimum wheel diameter they recommend is 8.5" and PW stock wheels are 8" wide
Re: 37-12.50 vs 37-13.50 toyos
I am going with 37's on stock wheels as we'll. I am going with 12.5 due to wheel width. If you really want Toyos, they will work; that being said, I would stick with an appropriate tire width. Even 12.5 is probably wide for stock wheels. I think I have decided on the newer version of Cooper STT's. Cooper makes a good tire at a great price......that and made in America!ddenney wrote:Hey guys I'm looking into putting thurens control arms and his lift shackle on my truck, it already has a leveling kit on it from previous owner (which by the way never believed in rotating tires). Definitely the 12.50's, tire profile makes a difference too, I'm running 12.50 all terrains that dont have all the nasty sidewall lugs and rub the sway bar now. I would run 10.50's if they made them.
See here where mine rub, now yours should have a little more clearance with leveling kit I believe but I'm sitting factory height.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.
