Dear lord, I'm going to have to devote a good 30 to 45 minutes of one of my nights to read that. Thanks for the write up! I'll be sure to read it here in a couple, lol.

That was a TREMENDOUS write up!!!!!!!!! I will be ordering the DVD as soon as it is available. You represented the PW community and entire off road community extremely well!!!

And you still have me thinking of doing the Whipsaw trail in BC with you one day! I can't this year as I got drawn for bull moose and antlerless elk so I need the vacation days for hunting. But hopefully one day!

I have no idea. I didn't do anything with meat. Not even sure if they did or not! It beat my previous best by 7 or 8 inches!

Generally speaking when in brownie country i hunt with 375 in case i have to stop a bear. when i guided in alaska i carried a 416 rem mag with 18.5" barrel or my 500 nitro express. but i also carry a 454 casull pistol. in that case i couldnt have pistol as it was russia. pretty much everything else from antelope up to blackies n elk i use 7mm mag. my real diverse firearms are the bird and small game guns. thats where they are fun. my guns for big game are more like tools.

Wow, what a read. Awesome how you can remember everything that happened that well. When I try to remember a tip it's all just a blur and I only remember the funny or "Oh Shit!" moments. It's also crazy that you guys drove that far down here. Hell Dubuque is about 3 hours north of me, and St. Louis is about 3 hours south, so you guys were probably about 1-2 hours from my house at some point. I would have loved to see all of you guys rolling down the highway, that would have been an epic sight. I would've had to turn around and follow to the next gas stop to check them all out, especially your beast.
