Gotta wonder if Dodge will sell you a crate motor from the Hellcat. That will get you downrange in a hurry.

Dodge will sell anything but it isn't gonna be cheap! I would love to buy a new crate engine in the future of a 6.4 to modify into my 05. Major power upgrade since mine was 345/345 new probably 245 now if I'm lucky lol.

Why not just buy and have built the Ram Runner?

I live in the Midwest where it's nothing but bean and corn fields (not quite that big though) and I have wanted to go blasting across a combined bean field a LOT, but I also don't want to tear up the field in the process. I'd never go that fast over corn stubble. I don't know how low your farmers cut those corn stalks but ours are around 8-10" after the combine goes over, so you can chew threw a truck tire in no time. We've went through quite a few 14 ply $5k tractor tires on hard stubble, not very fun. Unless you mean after it's been worked, then I could easily see those speeds, much fun to be had. Anyway I would also recommend Carli or Thuren, I'm more biased to Carli but that's mostly because I haven't seen much Thuren stuff. Looking forward to seeing what you build!

Im late joining the convo sadly. Carli stuff is great. Grab a 3/4 ton low and talk to George at 8lug about the performance 2.5 or the king 3.0 kits from carli. R and D is already done for go fast. Power is easy. The 4.56 gears with 35's still push like a mo fo. As an alternate tire selection would you consider the general grabbers. Seriously best and toughest tire i have ever run. Not a pure mud tire but they will pull through mud. They float and push vs sink and paddle. For winter the nittos would be better though. Stay with the 17" size rim and keep factory backspace and no issues stock height as far as travel. Your pumpkins are the lowest part anyway. I deal with snow to some pretty extreme extent so i know what works there. I'd love to join you for some lr shooting. I've built a few nice rifles but haven't made it past 1500 yet but i will soon. Good luck with the build. Check out how i butchered up my diesel and turned it into somethin better. Still a work in progress. http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/vie ... f=13&t=636

315 70r17's on heavy ass aluminum eagle allows on a 2012 pw-with stock everything was neck in neck with a newer chev 1500. 6.0litre. And about two feet taller then it. If that helps for the quickness factor just leave it in manual mode and hold on 2nd or 3rd let her rev it's a hemi she holds 100kmh pretty easy over rough stuff. My suggestion would be deffiantely go with a 3" Carli lift. Or Thuren suspension system. Thuren has a soft spot for the p.wagon I think. Carli dunno. I like my acv's and I like the height but realistically if I could so it again I would do 3" Carli full system probably a dominator to be honest. And be done with it. Plenty of everything for everything and no fuckery with bump stop drops extensions here extra material there etc etc. I do like the way my truck looks. But looks and performance are starting to hate eachother lol. Once my trucks trussed in a few weeks I'll take some more go pro vids for you to mind fuck and make more poor financial decisions lol!. O you must not have seen my thread where I kind of bashed the bds long arm lift I have.....bushings are pretty junk it's Deffinately a mall crawler suspension for very slow offroad fun. I like how beefy everything is but the bushings on my long arms aren't very high quality and I will probably have to replace them next year or machine a thicker sleeve for all of them so they don't have any play in the bushings

I do like the acv's cause they have very nice street manners especially the faster you go. The fact the resi mounts up nice and high in the bed is nice keeps them out of the way of bolders but apperantly the rod end bushings (heim joint 1/2") wears out quickly on these and the 7100's compared to the king 3.0 (5/8" bushing/heim? If I'm correct) lasts way longer in many different climates however you will have to get ss shafts on the kings to help you out in the winter which I imagine they use salt where you are with all that snow....:) where the billies are a hardened chrome plated shaft
