Granted you would think a dealer service tech would know the proper maintenance procedures on a vehicle...but as a lot of people have seen time and time again even the salesmen have no idea what a PW is. Why would you let someone touch your vehicle that has no idea what a locked differential is...(I'm guessing most Ram techs). Maybe its just a way to justify voiding the warranty on my truck and the wife's Rubicon; but god I feel a lot better about having a guy come out to look at my vehicle while I'm explaining the problem that's covered up to the elbows in grease with a giant beard as opposed to a slick suit wearing fast talker that seems like they should be selling shower curtain rings as most service reps are. Its always driven me nuts trying to explain a problem to a person that has no clue how vehicles work. I say do maintenance (at the absolute least) like this yourself, then you know its done right.
