Post by Bill85 » Mon Jun 23, 2014 7:15 pm

This past weekend at Rausch Creek I bent my right lower long arm. Went to a authorized BDS dealer and part is ordered. only cost not covered is shipping. also got new bushings for the rest of the control arms and a second lower arm for a spare. Should have parts in 3 days.

One of the main reasons I went with BDS...they actually expect their products to be abused and have a no question warranty, and unlike some companies their products don't have to be installed by an authorized dealer to be covered under warranty.

I'd imagine they wouldn't want the bent arm maybe just a pic. I am kinda ticked at bds I don't think I would buy their products again. I kept trying to get ahold of bds when I was having noise issues and no one ever contacted me I sent three emails and not one response from bds tech support. I hope if I need to warranty any of their products they will step up to the plate though I've heard some really good things about them hense why I bought the entire long arm kit! But when I wanted to talk to someone no one would answer! However I did not call* in their defense I expected tech line would have called me but whatever gave up on that

bstefanic that is why I bought from BDS the warranty I heard was excellent.

w2dodge yes they want the bent arm back. I was told it was to see if they can improve the product.

2wagons1driveway I called the number on BDS website and the lady was very helpful telling me were the closet authorized dealer was and that the dealer will take care of everything. I did not buy the lift from this dealer and they are not charging me for the warranty arm just shipping and the extra arm and bushings that I bought.

the dealer is Harrington Speed and Auto in Butler NJ if anybody in the area is curious.
