I agree there is some very nice stuff they make but Damn... at $2800 this is just too high a price for admission for me right now. That bumper is all I would need for 37" ATII's to fit. Our smart bar is in the way and will require a trip to see them for measurements (likely more $$$$). The fairlead will need relocation lower for our winch too (more dollars)!

But yes they have a way of making their designs fit the overall look of the 3G very well IMHO!

Talked to the guy before I bought my front bumper. Really really wanted this bumper but $2800 and that's bare metal!

There really is a ton of labor in that bare metal sculpted bumper. It is likely to come down in price as those who just have to have it get to be fewer and fewer. :excited:

Yep. What he said. There are alot of individual pieces of plate in that bumper. Every seam needs to be welded. A lot of work goes to ensuring that nothing warps during the welding process. You could easily end up with a smiley face instead of a moustache!

Todd's looking for a PW(near them in "Cali") to build a PW setup..."We can build ANYTHING your thinking of for your PW." Someone close go down there, we need them to build our crazy off-road protection ideas.

I'm about 100 miles from them. What's the "PW setup" they are contemplating?

Fitting their front bumper to a PW is what I meant. Possibly the gas tank/belly pan skid plate...work out a deal to be a guinea-wagon???!!!

Let you all in on a little secret! Mercenary is making me the VERY FIRST 4th Gen bumper for my truck to have on the Ultimate Adventure. BOOYAH!!

Keep in mind though I am removing the factory winch and replacing it with a Warn 16.5ti, so it will be a little different. Yes they are expensive but I can personally attest to their quality. I have seen two already pre and post install. There is A LOT of work involved in making them. Many pieces and labor hours. The one pictured below on the white truck belongs to Cooper at Diesel Power. I see it all the time. IT IS BADASS!! And hell for stout too. Todd does awesome quality work. Be patient as pictures will be coming as soon as it is mounted up in a few weeks.

You may help some folks out by suggesting to them to use your setup to nail down what is needed for a 4G to have this bumper with all the factory equipment in place and useable. Hell the may even put in a door for easy winch access since the 4G grill is fixed in place. I believe our pitman arm is different too and may need more room if the skid protection goes that far back.

Ol' Todd seems to be a solid guy, returns emails promptly answers goofy questions & sends pictures...which make me want all this gear more! C'mon March 2015!(that's when I can get fitted for bumpers unless he comes to me)

Here is a teaser picture Todd sent this morning. The bumper is mostly done. I got it in the "white" as I am going to make adjustments to it if needed to work around any new suspension parts, as well as, I plan on putting a robust brush-guard type deal set-up on it!

Azracer, I'm not sure what you are asking? Are you suggesting I talk to him about a PW specific model? I can ask him but am pretty sure he is thinking about that already. He already had the 4th Gen idea rolling when I pushed him for the bumper by the UA. He just got busy for me to get it done so I would have it by the UA!

BigMike, Todd is a good guy. And he has mad fab skills!

Nice bumpers...The front is the least cattle catcher looking I've seen of the after market F. bumpers....The F. bumper that looks the best IMO was one I saw here or on dodge talk. A guy modded the stock F bumper by cutting up and around the fog light hole, leaving the top couple of inches out to the ends. Similar to the look of this $2800 bumper. Man you could by 20 stock front bumpers for $2800 and have enough $ left over to design a quick change setup....

Yes that was it.

That bumper with that lighting and angle screams Transformers. Sure will look different on a 4G.

I have already been talking to him, they are going to borrow mine in 2 or 3 weeks, he is not sure what weekend is better for him yet. I have meet him a couple of times, and watched him work fitting the bumper on the CJC Offroad Shop Truck. Seems like good guy. It is going to be awesome to see the bumper on my truck, but I am not looking forward to seeing it come back off.
