It is called "circumcising" your PW... It must be done to stuff 40's and be able to flex :):):):)

Cutting metal to fit tires is just what should be done. LOL. Your choice of Rock Monster rims is excellent. They are very expensive and weigh even more. Trust me, I know. I bought 6 of them. The tire and wheel combination will be right around 150lbs. However, they are hands down the BEST wheels to run, in particular, on a full size truck. Locking the beads on both the outside AND the inside is imperative. You can literally air down to negative pressure and not break a bead. On non-beadlocks or external beadlocks you are always in danger of popping a bead at anything below 20-30 pounds. Well done sir!!

One question for you! How averse are you to body damage?

The Rockmonster wheels are not expensive, I have seen more rims that are higher priced and half as good. when I was looking for rims for my truck I wanted the factory Alcoa's but they where as much used as the Hutchison bead locks new. I paid 450/pcs and they Alcoa's are $870/wheel from the dealer. It just pisses me off a little that everyone thinks that when you have Hutchison's that you must have lots of money. I paid less for mine ( and I'm sure so did everyone else ) than some other people pay for their aftermarket yuppy, pavement queen wheels :duel: and yes they are the best wheel that fits our trucks but NOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE.

I absolutely love these rims... I went wheeling with them at EJS in Moab when they first came out(I do believe they have pics of my blue CJ on their website) and fell in love with them at first sight, they were expensive then but I agree, the best wheel for our trucks.

I love them too!!! Bought these things last summer and have been chomping at the bit to install them. Hopefully the rest of my suspension will be in this next week. Gonna start disassembly on Monday.

TwistedPW has a twisted hair up his ass! LOL! Read my post again!

P.S. I don't wish to hack RockCrawler's thread about his awesome build to argue about whether the finest off-road wheel made is expensive or not. This thread should be for the glory of his build. As for me I think he is doing anwesome job with his Wagon! Sorry this happened RockCrawler!
