Hey guys! Registration is open for this years event, next years, 100% legit event. We've got some sponsors and A LOT PLANNED! With some really awesome give aways. Let's just say that one company is going to be providing ______ wheels. And I can neither confirm nor deny the 2020 Power Wagon. I am going to be able to talk about our sponsors and stuff after the new year.

We are finalizing the event insurance and BLM permits and what not now.

BUT, EARLY REGISTRATION IS UP >>>

https://powerwagonsinmoab.com/2019-sign-up-form/

Because of permitting (the BLM) and us turning this into a legit event, you cannot just show up. You must register. We have 19 people from last year already recommitted, we're expecting even higher turn out this year.

The earlier the better.

Man, I would love to do this! Not sure I have the stomach to put my truck through this just yet though...

Do y’all just camp out in the park all week?

There are excellent trails that aren’t full-freaky. Enough options to play it safe and still have lots of fun, or go party.

TONS of stuff to do in the area as well, especially if you like mountain biking or national parks!

I made a few of the trails with a new 2018. It was fun, no major damage other than a couple of duratrashes trashed.

I just crashed in the back seat because I'm cheap. I'll have a tent next time. The cheapest hotel I found, on a average Tuesday night, was $180 for a super 8. It was a pretty nice super 8, but OMG. But it was like 11:30 pm and I wasn't going to try to find the group then. Oh, and it was raining.

I was going to write this big post about how we have AEV as a partner and someone will win a set of their wheels, and how offroadpower products (same diesel power products guys) is now a partner too with another big give away and bla bla bla. New website is up.

I worked on this for two weekends and have been swamped with work, so here is a half ass post.

We're making the final big push now. Registration is open, and trail reg will open shortly.

Haha, I was wondering the same thing when I saw that. I think there’s a fairly general consensus that AEV wheels and snorkel are okay, isn’t there? They don’t need to know we all think their lift is dog poo.

I think their snorkel isn't sealed enough to be a snorkel on Cummins applications.

Partners are helping us by covering the BLM per person per day per trail fee that the government thinks is acceptable.

I had a great time with the family last year and would love to go this year but it looks like we are hitting Yosemite and Rubicon or Fordyce Creek instead. Maybe PWIM 2020.

Have fun guys and don't forget your spare tires.

Have fun

And if you are still driving stock tires, I found there were no replacement duratrashes in Moab last year after I destroyed one. Or even anything close that would fit on a stock wheel.

I sent this via email, but thought I would ask here as well. We have planned a family vacation to Moab that happen to line up with PWIM. Would it be possible to come along on a trail ride one of the days to see what the rally is all about? Is there a one day cost, or would the full registration fee apply?

59 days!

That’s how many days are left until Power Wagons in Moab, 2019.

We’ve been hard at work getting things ready for everyone, partnering with some pretty big names to make this an event to remember!

This year, we’re excited to partner with Thuren Fabrication and White Knuckle Offroad as two of our powerhouse Title Sponsors! Without them, this event would not be possible! Literally…. You don’t want to go on some of these trails without Thuren Suspension upgrades or White Knuckle protection. Their products literally make it possible to ride in comfort and safety!

If you haven’t already, get your orders in with Thuren for any suspension upgrades and White Knuckle for a set of sliders!

We’re also excited to partner with some pretty spectacular Premium Sponsors with Offroad Power Products, AEV, and Maple Offroad. They are generously covering the BLM per-user fee for three select days, providing some sweet swag for ya’ll, and donating some drool-worthy items for the raffle benefiting the Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association.

Does anyone want a sweet set of AEV Salta HD wheels? I know you do! Pro-tip: running the AEV Raised Ram Air Intake makes a big difference with all the dust and heat in Moab. It’s a good excuse to get one. 😉

How about a sweet piece of armor from Maple Offroad? Did you see that high clearance rear bumper on Lenzi Van Wagoner’s truck on Truck Night in America? Sugary sweetness!

And let’s talk about camping. A lot of folks are camping on BLM land during PWiM. If you’re looking to pick up a few items to make life easier, check out our partner Offroad Power Products for all your camping needs!

We’re also in the process of finalizing details with several other amazing partners, and we can’t wait to share about them and all their great offerings!

But what about the trails, you may ask?

We’re working with our partners to ensure the BLM per user/per day fees are covered for all trails. We’ll be releasing trail registration the first week of April. Along with trail registration, a comprehensive “What to expect” packet will be sent out providing a lot of answers to your questions, such as:

What does a typical trail day look like?
When and where are the drivers’ meetings?
Some basics of offroading in Moab that we expect you to memorize. 😉
And a few other important bits
But wait, where’s the PWiM apparel?

It’s coming! We’ve got a few fun options this year, and we’ll be releasing the design/offerings in a couple of weeks.

As of this post, there are 40 trucks registered for the event. Some of the very early registrants had to cancel due to unforeseen events, which has opened a few spots. This means there are only 15 spots left!

If you are on the fence about going, if you’re concerned your bone stock truck can’t make it (it can!), if you’re wishing you could come, then make the choice and register today!
