2015 PW wheels for sale

Post by Txpowerwagon » Mon Jan 19, 2015 12:09 pm

I've got a set of PW wheels off my 2015 for sale.. Will sell as a set or separate for folks to use as a spare to rotate in with the other 4 (you will get an extra 35 or more thousand miles by doing this. I'm asking $1200 or 300 each plus shipping. Wheels had 500 miles when I removed them

If only it were tax season... Can I assume you put the tires on another set of rims?

The dealer took my 5 good years and gave me 5 35" Nitto TG MTs, I tried to buy a 5th PW wheel but it was $2100, $1400 at dealer cost!! Yah, no thank u... I bought 5 fuel boost 17x9s so I can rotate the spare in every 5k.. I can normally get 90k miles out of a set of 5 tires doing this rotation... So, I've got the PW wheels up for sale.. I think 2 might be sold but I won't know till I get back in town and contact the guy from dodge talk .

I picked up a set of 4 PW rims with tires and hub caps for $300. They are the '05-'13 style, but nevertheless PW rims. They go pretty cheap these days ... You may need to come down some more unfortunately

Agree the older wheels are fairly cheap. These are not and will not be going cheap. I'll hold price. If I can't sell the set, I've got two sold locally and if I can get ahold of a guy on DT, the other two will be sold at $300 each

Whoa ... This went south for no reason. Relax new guy. I wasn't being facetious when I said I was glad you can sell them for more. If you've found buyers that will pay what you're looking for, that's truly a good thing. I was only sharing what I paid for a set of PW take-offs. I just wanted to help you sell them by sharing the prices I've seen them sell for. It's not like the new PW rims are groundbreakingly different from the previous design. Functionally, they're exactly the same. They just look different. I'm sorry if you think I was trying to scorn you, but that wasn't my intention. If you don't think I have anything to offer when you post, just say so, and I won't. This registry is a pretty helpful community of guys and your response here is pretty unwarranted ... Especially since you're so new and don't really know how nice and helpful a lot of us are. No one here is trying to berate or belittle another member. ... I guess I'll just leave it at that ...

I agree this is probably one of the cleanest, most helpful & (usually) very cordial forumns that I have seen.

Oh, yeah, they also help folks spend lots of money on mods to their trucks ;-)

Yah was kinda having a crappy day, DAs from DT dented my truck trying to put a rubi wheel in the bed over the side of the truck... Damn that crap pisses me off.. I'm not new, I just haven't been around since 2010. I guess I just took it wrong.. My apologies. But hey, thanks for opening and looking! ;-). As an update, I just bought an expensive lift for my Rubi so I need these gone. I'll take $1000 OBO

No worries man. No harm no foul. I'm a pretty laid back dude just trying to help. Asynchronous communication makes it tough to judge tone. Apology accepted. I apologize as well if any disrespect was perceived.

As for your other issue ... Dude! Dent already on the new truck? Was it someone else's fault, or was this something you did? ... I guess it really doesn't matter ... I'd be pissed either way ... Either at the person that did it, or myself for denting my own truck! Hopefully it's something that's easy to fix

It was a tech that thought he could put the JK wheel in my truck over the bed instead of walking his lazy butt 3 feet further to the open tailgait! I think they should be able get it out, but it's just frustrating how people don't take care of other people's expensive property in their possession!

One thing I noticed, when jeep changed the rubicon wheel in 2012, they were going for big dollars, within a year and a half, they'd dropped to the same as the old ones. I was offered $1000 for my '15 wheels, but decided to keep them, in the same hope as you, that I can find a 5th one. I got the older ones for $500 for 5 of them, to run for winter wheels

The question is, what do you want to pay for a new style wheel?

I definately wasn't going spend $1400-2100 from the dealer for the 5th wheel!
