WTB- Power Wagon.

Post by countrystrong » Thu Mar 19, 2015 12:11 am

Hi I have been wanting to buy a power wagon for a real long time. I can't seem to find one for sale. I am looking for a powerwagon quad cab or crew cab that is well taken care of. I am wanting one for a all out hunting rig.

Whats this one worth? Seriously.

Post by Numbnuts » Thu Mar 26, 2015 10:05 pm

This asking price seems a bit high. What do you owners think about the price? :secret:

Its a 2 owner vehicle w 60k on the clock. It looks like an SLT to me. I used the vin decoder here and doesn't help me much with the options etc.

I haven't run a carfax yet but it looks clean......

The problem with this truck is it's cloth interior. I've yet to see any 2006 model Ram that didn't have destroyed interior because of how bad the cloth was for that year. I've seen 2006 Ram's with stained interior seats just from rain water.

Price seems a bit on the high side for an 06. I paid $26,500 for my 2010 with 51,000 on it and it was a 1 owner with a clean carfax. It's not perfect but it was definitely worth waiting for. I know there's not a lot of em out there but if you're patient I think you can do better. It'll be worth it once you find the right one. Good luck with your search

Wow, that's a good deal right there. Is it a crew cab or reg cab? Did they even make reg cabs in '10?

Where'd you pick that up? State?

It's a crew cab and I got it in Eastern P.A. And it was listed for $28,000. It was still more than I planned on spending but I was just looking at 2500s until I saw this one come up on Cars.com. I called the place at like 2:00 on a Saturday expecting it to be sold but they said they just listed it. I drove 2 1/2 hours in a snow storm to look at it and of course once I got there and looked it over, I had to have it. To be honest I didn't know if that was a decent price or not at the time because it was the first 4th gen I'd seen for sale.

Thanks, I'm located in Sussex County (Hampton Twp) about 20 minutes from the P.A. N.Y State borders. I did a lot of work in Bergen county years ago on some monster houses with flippin indoor pools, bowling lanes, firing ranges in the basements and 7-10 bathrooms. I'd give my left one to have a range in my basement!
