Abel Components Sway Bar Bypass® - $299
The Sway Bar Bypass® is a stand-alone system for giving the driver complete control of the disconnecting sway bar, from the comfort of the driver's seat, in any transfer case range, at any speed. It works on all years of Power Wagon and Jeep Rubicon and is completely electric (no OBA needed) and comes with everything you need to wire it into your vehicle, without cutting or splicing into any factory harnesses. This system abandons the factory sway bar switches and utilizes its own rocker switch with an indicator light, that shows when the sway bar is disconnected. It will also work with your own auxiliary switch panel to control it. There will be no flashing lights on the factory switches and the lockers or Locker Bypass will still function like normal. It does not affect the engine or transmission performance.
Ram only allows the sway bar to work in 4H or 4L and if you exceed 18 MPH, it automatically reconnects. This always frustrated me, because driving off road with the sway bar disconnected really softens the ride, allowing the front axle to move more freely and mitigates jostling in the cab. There are lots of dirt roads that can be navigated in 2WD, at a higher rate of speed that you'll enjoy a more comfortable ride with the sway bar disconnected.
