Finally got this installed. Ended up adding a Switch Pros 9100 in the truck and was able to order the kill switch pre-wired to work with the switch panel. Got everything buttoned up this weekend while it was a little warmer out.

Instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Installation itself is very simple. Works as advertised and make a huge difference when you need to be in control rather than the ECM. One of my favorite upgrades to the truck.

I did the same a few weekends ago on my 2024 PW. I connected to my Garmin Power Switch which is BT to my phone & visible on my 12” Uconnect via Apple Carplay. Works great.

Hey Abel in your original setup you had Red Power and then a Brown and Yellow wire.

Can you remember or remind me of the original wiring config for the Yellow and Brown wire?

Holy crap I forgot I made a video and literally said what the wires were in the video!!! My brain dead self recently decided to redo all my wiring without labeling what I was unhooking. Whomp Whomp.

I got it hooked back up. LOL

I got into a sidequest when I was just going to fix one thing and ended up re-wiring everything on the truck for 3 days. LOL

Well a new development has come up on the 5th gen. trucks. Ram has issued a recall to reprogram the ABS module. Once the reprogramming is updated, it renders the throttle nanny override portion of the NKS useless. I’ve had a couple customers contact me and confirm that their Nanny Kill Switch was working normally before the recall and then afterwards the throttle nanny came back, inhibiting wheel spin, even if the NKS was turned on.

At this point the only option that 5th gen. owners have of turning off the Traction Control to allow wheel spin, is to do a long 5 second press/hold on the factory TC switch, until you hear a chime. The only problem with this is that the Traction Control is never really fully turned off, it’s always lingering in the background and if you exceed a certain speed or yaw rate, it kicks back in again automatically and inhibits throttle response.

The ABS portion of the NKS still works, so if your main concern is being able to lock up your wheels and skid to a stop on any surface, it will still serve that purpose.
