Factor 55 ultra hook
Factor 55 ultra hook
Asking for a friend...lol. Is this hook really worth the money or is there another hook that is better than the original one that comes on the truck. Any and all comments welcomed. Thanks

I have the Ultrahook. It's great... but if I was gonna do it again I'd probably just get the Flatlink-e.Popoloco wrote:Asking for a friend...lol. Re: Factor 55 ultra hook
I have the Flat Splicer (same as Flatlink E, but rope splices onto hook rather than using a thimble).
If I were to do it again, I’d get the Flatlink E. Same, but I think it’s easier to splice onto a thimble than the hassle it was to splice onto the Flat Splicer. I don’t see any benefit of the Ultra Hook vs the Flatlink E, unless you are lazy and hate shackles, and even then this will only save the use of one Shackle when most recoveries use multiple.
