If you do any kind of serious off-roading in your PW, these are a must, especially in the South West. I know mine have taken some major hits without complaint other than the powder coat battle scars.

Just shoot me a text if you decide you want them. I’m perfectly willing to meet you somewhere south of Tacoma. I’d really love to save the hassle of packing them up to send them back.

Yeah, I was pretty bummed to find they didn’t fit but Ram made it very clear when I talked to them that removing or moving the dampers could void or partially void my warranty and I just don’t want to risk it. White Knuckle has a fix in the works but couldn’t say when it’ll be available. Until then, I guess I’ll just be glad the truck has grab handles.

Pdavey has White Knuckles on his 2019 PW. Plus he's had them for a while.

I suppose what you could maybe do is cut the mount off that is in the way, install the sliders and then rework the original mount to make it fit a little further back on the frame and weld it back in place.

I think they are also part of the noise cancelation setup they have inside the cab now, too.

From what I could gather, they are an active vibration cancelling system for high frequency frame vibrations. So I would imagine they are more for on road ride quality than off road. Could make a difference on washboard roads at high speeds though. They are just a silver cylinder attached to the frame on each side. I’m going to unplug them and drive around on and off road this weekend to see if I can tell a difference with and without them. Here are a couple pics of the one on the passenger side.

Peter said he had to relocate something. I forget what it was. We was talking about a lot of different stuff at the time.

He unplugged the unit and moved it to other holes in the frame temporarily. The harness does not reach where he mounted it, so it remains unplugged.

Going once, going twice... I’m planning on getting these sent back to White Knuckle within the next day or two if nobody wants them.

There must not be anybody near by you... otherwise those suckers would be GONE.
