115 v outlet truck bed

Hello,

I was looking at 17 and 18 years production to buy.

The power oulet is only available on trucks with Ram boxes. Does anyone be able to add power outlet to the bed ?

Yes, we can install the bed on this Rambox truck but it can be quite difficult.

Likely won't be hooked into the factory inverter. However getting the factory outlet then installing it and running it to an aftermarket inverter. I've done this before and it works well. I've attempted "adding an outlet" to a factory inverter for a customers build (they wanted an additional outlet behind their rear seat for charging handheld radios) and when I talked to the dealership they told me the factory inverter is load sensing which us controlled by canbus so it's not possible without in depth reprogramming. This was on a customer's F350, but I would suspect Ram is very similar
