Dead power outlet. Fuse is ok

Hey guys,
The power outlet in the lower left side of the center, isn't working. If I've read the owner's manual correctly, it's protected by fuse F104. The fuse is fine, as is the enter armrest outlet which, supposedly, is protected by the same fuse.
So... Wiring...? Socket?
Not sure where to start

Probably the inverter? Are we talking of the 110v outlet?

Sorry, I could have been more precise. It's the 12 volt "cigar lighter" power outlet that's dead. The one located on the left hand side nearest the driver's seat.

I lost the same one, and my 110v inverter and the in-console 12v plug. My issue was that the fuse pins in the TIPM (fuse box) has bad contact. I noticed when removing the fuses that one side grabbed firmly and one did not. The loose side, I bent a leg of the fuse and stuck it back in - they all work now! All the fuses were good but weren’t making good contact with the pins.

The funny part is, the 12v outlet in the armrest / console works just fine. I haven't tested the 110V outlet, guess I should
Thanks for the feedback guys

My 12V outlet just died and is exhibiting the same symptoms. Let me know if you figure this out, and I'll do the same. I haven't plugged anything into the 110V outlet, but F104 is in tact, the console 12V outlet works.

So, I finally got this figured out.
Turns out that the fuse tap *MUST* have fuses in both sockets. One is for the original circuit, and one for the new circuit. Simple as that. In hindsight, this is slapping-my-forehead simple, oh well. Live and learn
The shop wanted 240 dollars to fix this. I politely declined their offer.

What do you have the fuse tap for?

Well that doesn’t help my situation. No fuse taps hiding in my fuse box. I’m glad you got it figured out.

I use it to drive a relay, which in turn controls the circuit which powers all my accessories in the tool box (HAM radio battery charging and charge controller, voltage booster, tuner, etc etc etc, air compressor). I wanted that circuit to be ignition switched, so I tapped the cigar lighter circuit.

My truck has a couple different power outlet fuses. Make sure you’re checking the right one.

It looks like for a 2017, fuses #90, #93 and #104 are for protecting the various auxiliary power outlets. You should be able to confirm this info in your owners manual (look in the index under "Fuses").

Low Sky,
It looks like for your 2015, the cigarette lighter/power outlet fuses would be #91, #93 and #104. The console power outlet and instrument panel power outlets are on separate fuses.
Actually fuse #90 and #91 are the same fuse, it just depends on how you plug it in. One position provides constant battery power to the power outlet (even with the key turned off) and the other position makes the power outlet turn off with the ignition switch. All Dodge/Ram trucks have at least one power outlet fuse that offers this feature (my 08 has it).
Good luck!

Thanks for the extra info. I missed the post about the contact being loose inside the fuse box, so I’ll take a look at that too.

Thank you, Sir. Fuse 93 was blown. I was only looking at fuse 104
