First of all great work. That is one professional looking setup. I was afraid the locker sensing features were a bit more complex then just off and on given how many issues folks have had including myself. Seems they did something similar to them as they did the winch with the LVI and TPI. I am in when you confirm for a 3rd Gen. 2005 model here.

Thanks guys!

Still trying to source the connector to interface with the OEM switch. rws5040 was gracious enough to track down the part numbers but the problem now is finding them available and not having to order 5000 of them!

I plan on getting at least a few 4th gen kits out in the coming weeks then after the Christmas craziness is over I'll get rolling on the rest. Hopefully in the next month or so I can come up with a good method for interfacing with the 3rd gens. It looks like we have no option but to run wires into the cab unless you want to cut wires at the smartbar.

I think it looks pretty nice and seems straight forward.

Maybe a further away shot and a circle locating the 10 pin plug to start off with is the only thing I see that could be confusing.

I'm not very electronically savvy, but this looks pretty straight forward. The perk about working for a school bus company is access to a heated shop, and a guy who knows his electrical stuff.

Looks awesome! I will definitely be interested in hearing some reviews of the benefits from other owners once it is put to use and then the 3rd gen version. Just a quick question. Does the oem locker axle connector just get capped off and left there? Also, I just noticed in your instructions where you are describing the axle plug disconnect. I think you meant to say "from" and not "form" in a couple of places. :ugeek:
2005 Black Pow Wagon mods: DT Profab Steering Brace, Gibson superflow catback single exhaust system, Locker Bypass, Moog ball joints (see how long they last), New OEM track bar bushings, T-steering upgrade w/ Bilstein 5100 steering damper, Power everything, Heated leather seats, (keeps the better half happy), Rear window defrost, Bilstein 5100 shocks, 35x12.5x17 Toyo AT2 Extremes, Customized H2 alloy wheels, Original rock rails with family friendly steps welded on, Tri fold tonneau, Hi-lift extreme jack, Tool box along with all the essential PW gear. New winch cable, Winch TPS bypass, Cardan joint grease zerk discovery. New front grille assembly. Magnesium Chloride under coating.

If you ever happen to see me running somewhere, you should start running too. :)

When this comes out for an 05 I want one so badly. The dealer couldn't figure out why the lockers wouldn't engage. I'd be so happy just to skip over all the BS that comes with the lockers. Great work

I'm waiting on IOS 7.1 Beta 2 to finish downloading and decided to browse the forum. I seen this thread on the 2nd page and thought that should not be since we are all looking forward to this improvement to our PWs. So pretty much :bump: is what I'm getting at. :bump: :bump: oh and again thank you Myoung.

Just curious if there were any updates or I missed something. Read a post in another thread that someone said they were running one of these now.

Jeep_boy02, you're number 7 on the waiting list! I got all the wires cut for 8 kits and got 4 harnesses done. I'll be out of town for work the next few days and hope to get the other 4 harnesses and make some good progress on the control boxes later this week. I should be able to get a couple out this week and the rest of the 8 next week.

Here's a pic of 8 unassembled harnesses. 1033' of wire sitting there!
