I'm very interested. I have mine wired direct to toggle switches and have been working great ever since. Would be very nice to use the stock knob instead and not see flashing lights. I have a 2005 and would need to get a little more details on install. I have no problems cutting and splicing wires if there is a diagram and instructions. Gotta order my lift and tires this month and next. So probably be early next year before I could purchase one.

Thanks guys! That's a pretty good list!

I'm just waiting on my new relays to come in now. They were supposed to be here today but weren't in the mailbox this morning. Thanks USPS!

I guess I'm just not sure if this is something I should do to my truck. So far, I haven't had issues with my lockers when I've needed them. They lock up when the wheels start to slip, which for me seems to work like it should. Albeit, I haven't done a whole lot of wheeling in my truck yet, I'm just not sure if risking my unlimited warranty is worth it. I'm open to thoughts on my logic though ... :poke:

Warranty shouldn't be a problem. 5 minutes and a set of wire cutters to cut the zip ties and the entire bypass kit is out of the truck and there's no way to tell it was ever there. As far as the bypass kit harming the truck, it's highly unlikely. The lockers themselves won't know the difference between the bypass sending them power or the smartbar. I think the biggest benefit is being able to lock up whenever you want to. Flip the knob to Front/Rear and both axle solenoids get power immediately rather than the smartbar holding back the front until the rear is locked. Then it's just a matter of getting the teeth to align and lock the axle together.

Do you ever use your lockers in 4-High or would you want to be able to lock the rear in 2wd? This will allow you to do so.

It works! The relay boards work like expected. The lights are hooked up to the relay outputs to demonstrate functionality. Once the lights are hooked up to the sensors they won't illuminate until the axle is locked. Now I just need to run the wires to the axles and get offroad for final testing.
