Hardwired Lockers with OEM Knob

Ok guys, enough of the connector pin-out pictures, this is the best diagram I can come up with. Hopefully it will help you figure out what you want to know about the locker system. Sorry that it's two separate images, just print them out and tape them together if you need to get the big picture.

Pin B is constant battery power coming into the FDCM that gets directed out to the lockers by the module. Pin B1 is ignition switch controlled power coming into the SmartBar to turn the FDCM on and off with each key cycle. Pin E and F are the grounds that are used for the module and lockers, they are a constant ground. What I don't know yet is whether Pin G and H are constant ground or switched on and off by the module.

The numbers in the middle of the wire paths indicate inline connectors somewhere in the harness and the corresponding pin number for that connector. The words to the side of the wires are the title of that particular inline harness connector.

One of these days I'm going to find away to put a switch on the panel illum too. I HATE that turning off the headlights gooses the panel all the way up to full chooch automatically. Makes it so you can't sit in your truck in the dark with the headlights off and see anything outside the vehicle.

I have come across this issue a few times... PITA for sure.

Great write up there Mikey. Just FYI you can save time by purchasing a lightbar harness and skip all the time consuming wire loom part. Tim made me that awesome disconnect with aircraft grade wiring. (Thanks Tim!)

Looming wire with mesh is super easy. Take a coat hanger and straighten it out. Bend a loop on one end and tape your wire to the other. Feed the hanger through the loom mesh and pull the wire through. Add heat shrink after you crimp the connector terminals.
