brake pads

Post by rammit11 » Sun Jan 30, 2022 3:54 pm

Looking to see what would be a good set of pads to run on a 2016 power wagon . I am just under 55,000 on mine right now and they are geting a little low and are going to need replacing . I am trying to decide on factory pads or the duralast gold from autozone.

Get EBC Yellowstuff pads. You will love them for stopping power.

Replaced all four Brakes and Rotors last year on my 2014 Power Wagon with EBC yellow stuff pads and EBC GD Sport Rotors. ~$800

Huge improvement in stopping power. I'd really recommend doing the Rotors too - the stock rotors won't hold up to heavy braking and will warp and then cause pulsing.

Where did you get them for that price?

I got the EBC brake parts from SummitRacing and THMotorsports pre Covid. I see that prices have gone up dramatically.
I bought all the parts and didn't get them installed for a long time until i couldn't stand the pulsing anymore!
