Hi all,
Just got a new set of 35's for my 07 and this set 3 of them have 4oz patches on the inside like a repair patch. The place I ordered them thru said it was normal but out of the last 3 sets none have had this.
Should I be concerned or return them to get ones that don't have this?
Regards,
Jim

Re: Trxus MT 4 Oz Balancing Patches?
Tire manufacturers use them to cut down on rejects that don't happen to be within balance tolerance out of Forming.
They are more common in larger tires now - instead of selling tires and expecting the consumer to add tons of weight to the rim

Re: Trxus MT 4 Oz Balancing Patches?
I have Interco TRX - US - MT tires on my 1972 F250 but don't remember if they came with balancing patches.
It has probably been more than 15 years since I got those tires and I have never had any issue with them.
(The tire shop did have to spend a little time balancing them during the original install, but they have been good)
The truck isn't used very much; mostly just to haul a few 2 ton loads of gravel every year for the camp driveway
