Give plasti dip a try

Decided to plasti dip my stock wheels, everyone does black but I decided to go bronze!

The process is rather easy and very forgiving if you make an oops. I have done several vehicles and wheel sets in the past few years. The feature I like is when I get tired of them I can just peel it off like vinyl and be back to stock.
Use 1 can of black plasti dip per wheel
Use 1 can of gold plasti dip metalizer for the bronze
Use index cards to line between wheel and tire
Use plastic bags or tape n drape to cover brakes/rotors
Key is plenty of thin coats, minimum 8 coats to ensure itβs easy to remove when the time comes.

It will be interesting to see how it holds up...

The sets I have done in the past lasted about a year, even through harsh winter. Like I had stated, if applied correctly itβs durable yet easy to remove and re-apply. Not bad for $50 and a few hours of time.

"Dipped" the swing arm on my moto a few years ago, really impressed at how well it's held up. Easy to patch if it does start to get scraped up.
I'd consider dipping my truck's wheels, but I really don't care that much about them at this point :rofl

I think it came out looking really nice, good job! Bronze on Black is badass.
Plastidip is some pretty useful stuff. I used it on my external lowrance gps antenna on the truck. Itβs held up in the Texas sun now for a couple years just fine

No Sir, just make sure to cut the holes out before adding them as this upgrades them from just 10hp to a full 20hp per vent!

That depends on color choice. I am pretty sure the chrome ones actual get up into 30's per vent. And if you do compound vents... well shit you better start looking at tranny upgrades.

I've done plasti dip numerous times throughout the years. Good stuff.
