Mark my words this will be a home grown terrorist attack that used GUN powder. This blast was more like gun powder or a cannon being fired with lots of yellow flames and smoke. It was more like pyrotechnics than a true explosive like dynamite or plastics. Watch for tight controls on gun powder and such. Reloading will be very tightly regulated and licensed from now on because of the use of gun powder. Remember fast and furious?

We may or may not be told that this or that group or person was being controlled/infiltrated by a CIA or FBI asset/handler who posed as a sympathizer with money, plans and the means to execute this plan.

The FBI have run this sting for 2 or three years trying to get this person or group to do this act of violence. How will we ever know for sure?

Do I know this is the case for Boston? NO I don't, but my gut tells me this is what is going on.

Think it can't happen? Well it already was exposed that this is how it is done way back in 1993!

I think you're right. As if reloading wasn't hard enough already...let's potentially ban the sale of gunpowder to private citizens as well!

Hell, I'm having a hard time getting reloading supplies now!

Ammo is getting hard to get up here in Canada. My heart goes out to the victims. I think it was domestic because the bomb was crude and they just dropped it and ran. Real terrorists use more powerful sophisticated bombs and are not afraid to strap the bomb to themselves. It was sloppy.

We really, really don't want it to be domestic. It will be one more thing to pin on us "Bitter Clingers" with our guns, Constitution, religion, etc. You know, we conspiracy theory, militia types.

Damn, I probably just made a list somewhere...

First, and to reiterate everyone else's sentiments, my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims in the Boston bombing.

It's interesting about the various conspiracy theories I've read and heard, especially the Craft operatives. I'm not sure what to think, but there's plausibility on both sides of the fence.

At this point, the focal point, and that appears to be the focal point based on news coverage or at least what they're telling us, that they get the 19 year old that's on the loose. If it's something far deeper, I hope the media covers it just like they did this, and hopefully without screwing it up like CNN did saying an arrest was made on Wednesday.

I looked around on different news sites, but I couldn't find anything about additional arrests. They did report that his sister's or some family members' homes were searched.

And I want to reiterate once again that my prayers and thoughts go out to the victims, and I want to add especially for the MIT officer that was gunned down.

From what they're reporting, he's in serious condition. I hope we can find out why and who else is involved in this.

I'm also saddened about the tragic events of that day.

I only want to find the truth because It seems we are not getting the truth. The suspects names and descriptions changed between 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM with a very odd appeal from the investigators that they wanted to hear only tips and info about those two suspects. Any other information or suspicious activity will not be looked into. How Orwellian is that?

Has anyone heard of an entire city going on lock down? Me either!

What about the family members who say that the older son was under close surveillance by the FBI for the past 4 or 5 years? She said the FBI knew everything her son was involved in and what Internet sites they went to. Was it a setup? Was the Saudi that was arrested and then deported a secret operative handling the two sons?

I see the injury on suspect #1 but suspect #2 escaped on foot through the neighborhood according to news reports. I know I know why even quote them as a source! But the fact is it would be impossible for him to get away in a car from a shootout where over 100 officers were at the sceen. Highly unlikely IMHO.

And AZ, good points. I don't know what to believe. Too many complex loose ends. If they were being watched, LE may not have wanted to let the general public know due to not wanting to stir up fear, and no one would have gone to the race. Lots of loose ends.

I love the NBC news broadcast where the reporter asked about the "operators" that were clearly visible at the scene within minutes of the blasts, all dressed the same & wearing black backpacks w/one holding a radiation meter, in pictures posted on infowars.com & was completely ignored. We have been to the Boston marathon 5x. My wife ran & finished 3x. She wanted to go this year. I didn't want to & she just got a promotion & started the new position the day of the Marathon. We would have been in or around the bleachers. Glad we didn't go, they may have pinned it on me !!!

They are clearly hiding it from the public. I think they knew but weren't 100% certain.
