Check yours if you own these:

They have a defect that causes them to release and collapse under load.
According to Harbor Freight's NHTSA filing, the problem with these jack stands is that due to worn tooling at the factory, the pawl that engages with the toothed height-adjustable part of the stand doesn't do so sufficiently to reliably lock it in place. A bump or a knock could cause the pawl to disengage, dropping the vehicle suddenly.

Thanks for posting, I'll have to check mine.

Are they exchanging them, fixing them, or providing some sort of gift card?

You take the old ones in, and they give you a gift card.

I got 2, 12 ton jack stands. So, I'm good. Guys on the Z forum have a few of the recalled ones.

They recalled the recalled replacements too. It’s an example of how high quality Chinese manufacturing is for their largest and longest term customers,,,

I'm glad I buy very little from that place.
