Absolutely beautiful ScatPack. Been looking at a picking up a charger version for the family car. Jealous.

I knew that rental car I drove while my truck was getting a new front axle was gonna burn my pocket. The break in on the Scat Pack is killing me but it'll be worth it. My dealer had to get it from another dealer 240 miles away. The poor guy that went to get it drove 60mph on I75 all the way back. Speed limit is 75mph. I looked on the history and the fastest he got to was 71mph. So at least they knocked down half of the break in on a smooth, steady cruise. :D

That's awesome Will. Is it 3.73 in the rear? I'd goto 5.13's & add some General Grabbers...

Oh and the AEV bumper

Haha, it has a 3:09 rear with independent suspension. Had a tiny bit of wheel hop until I got the psi right and scuffed up the tires a little. Haha, let it have the reins a little yesterday, touched 148mph.

Jebus, 142 felt fast on my crotch rocket! That's a lot more weight traveling really fast

Before I bought my Power Wagon I had a 2010 Camaro SS parked next to my 2004 HD Hemi (hence the user name). I shut it down once at 135mph, and that was enough.

I've been giving some serious thought to adding a Charger Scat Pack to the garage in a few years and keeping the truck. I figure a four door sedan would be the responsible thing to do...

I've been enjoying it so far. Stock tires suck but it does fairly well, gets good gas mileage if you be easy on her... Image

I have to tip my hat to the safety engineers of these cars and share my recent experience. Early Saturday morning before daylight, I was coming around a left hand curve and a black bear appeared running from my left to my right. By the time I realized what it was, I steered to the left even more to go behind the bear. Since it was early morning hours, not sure if the road had dew on it or what but I lost all traction, began to skid, ESC kicked in, immediately, the car pointed the opposite direction (which surprised me) about the time it hit the grass and then all I could do was go along for the ride. The left rear barely clipped a tree, then the front driver side caught a large pine tree stump. At that point in time I started flipping nose to tail in a slight twist. After a few cart wheels, it finally rested with all four on the ground. I was able to walk away, call the sheriff, and stay there until the wrecker service recovered the SP from the woods. Once the car was recovered, the sheriff took me home. I have a small cut on my forehead from the rear view mirror hitting me and very small scratches from glass on my left arm and some small glass pieces in my palms. A little sore, but not even a scratch big enough for a band-aid. I've had many vehicles and lots of motorcycles from cruisers to crock rockets and I've been very lucky to not have gone through this before now. You dont have to be careless or racing or acting stupid for things to happen, this was just one of those cases where all the right scenarios meet at the same place. Had I been in the truck, I would have hit the bear but it's hard to talk yourself into hitting one within milliseconds when they are eye level with you.

This car pretty much had the best protection in it, basically a factory roll cage. I know some of you love the high speed offroad, that roll cage is cheap, yall be careful. I was able to go home under my own power and give my girls a hug.
