Anyone running a suppressor?

Post by bstefanic » Sat Jan 16, 2016 7:48 pm

Thinking about buying a silencerco omega can to use on a bunch of various caliber round rifles I have, was just wondering if anyone has any range time with these and your thoughts?

The oil filter adapters work just about as good for a whole lot less. Maybe consider that unless you're also after the tactical look. Was messing around with a 5.56 and oil filter the other day, it was a blast and could hold a conversation at normal volume while plinking away. Much cheaper and less hassle too

Everyone I know that has one is very happy with it. They sound really nice to the ear when you shoot them. I have a can on the way and went a different route but I don't think you would be unhappy with an Omega.

Thanks, seems like the right next step....working on setting up a trust first

I have many suppressors for many different calibers from pistols to magnums to SBRs. I think that is a good all around can. What are you looking to get out of one? Is supreme accuracy your goal? Planning on actual subsonic loads? What calibers? Lots of factors and are you sure you need/want a trust?

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.
