Member Removal Board

Post by Chiprat1 » Tue Oct 28, 2014 10:52 pm

I would like to suggest that we have a board of members that can all unit and agree on the removal of a Member, and if all in Favor or a majority, then that member would be removed.
Not to be a hater, but there are some who really just are not part of the forum and just like to hang out and make stupid comments like an unwanted cousin.

My first nomination would be “Versardog”, this member needs to move on to another site, where others need useless rants. Like the Last site he was on, but somehow did not get along with them either, and had to jump to our site.
It is not due to one off the wall comment but rather the many endless crap rants, bashing our site and the integrity of those on the site. To you, I say By….

Member Removal Board

Post by SheepdogOutdoorsman » Tue Oct 28, 2014 11:07 pm

I know this won't gain any traction anyway, but if a vote is considered I vote against this proposition. I think we all get along pretty well. Just my $0.02

Plus, he was here before you and he posts way more ... You only have 50 or so posts on here since 2012 ... Not a very active member to be making such a request

I dont hardly post on here, but when I do, versardog likes to be a smartass. So therefore I dont post on here much, might as well be on pirate. I'm a member of this forum because I own a power wagon and sometimes can use some usefull info. But when I ask a question and a non power wagon owner chimes in talking shit out of the blue, yeah, anyways, rant over, I cant stand that dude. I'm with Chiprat1.

Vdog is OK. I think banning members is a bad idea, unless they get really offensive or out of hand, and nobody on here has gone that far (yet).

IMHO... Unless someones conduct is so egregious and counter to our groups purpose, I see no reason to prevent their voice from being heard. I served 10 years in the USAF and can honestly say I love my country! But I must even more vehemently say that I fear my Gubberment.

Free speech and a free press are something very hard to defend when you don't like what you hear or read. But the 1st amendment is not defending what we want to hear or read now is it! May I suggest you find an alternative way to avoid the frustration you feel? Possibly even evaluate your personnel perspective?

I'm to lazy to look. Does this forum have an ignore function? As far as vdog is concerned, when he acts like an ass just ignore him or throw it back in his face. He has PowerWagon envy, and just can't help himself. :excited:

I have been a member on here about a year now. I have spoken on the same threads as VersaDog and honestly I think he is fine. It's hard to pick up tone through a mouse and keyboard. He likes to joke around and such. I have never seen any verbal abuse from him my vote is let him stay.

Agreed - any of you ever spend time on a cummins forum? I have and his needs are closer to ours than theirs... Besides he does more with his cummins than many of our members "pavements princesses"... ;)

I disagree with any kind of censorship ...it's actually against the law. Free speech is one of our fundamental freedoms. I didn't spend 20 years serving our country to be banned from any self serving forums.

The ones on here that have issues with my comments have never been on a trail with me........I'm a nice guy LOL

And like cactus red said my CTD has been places many of your super PW's will never see. PW envy? I don't think so, it's just a truck with some finicky features that need to be modified to function correctly. So far my CTD has gotten me in and out of any place I wanted to go even using it's "limited" capabilities.

Have a nice day and do what you feel is best. :patriot:

For your answer, please refer to the "Rules, Privacy and Copyright Info" thread on the Board Index of the forum. If a member has violated any of these, after being given their warning, at that time they may possibly be removed from the forum.

100% agree!!

Short of being disrespectful or threatening, free speech is a wonderful thing. If we were all the same, life would be boring and we wouldn't learn anything. Open minds are learning minds. It is our option to agree or disagree. We are loosing our rights to free speech day by day and I find it disturbing to say the least. The starting of this thread is a reflection of what is happening in our society. Versa dog is only pointing out issues that have been brought to light by other members. No machine is without its flaws and faults.... Power wagon included.
Sure he might be poking a bit more than you like..... No need to be whining little pu$$ies about it. I used to fart on my little brothers head and he still loves me and it only made him tougher.
The fact that Versadog does search and rescue tells volumes about his true character in my opinion. Time is a persons most valuable commodity and he uses some of his to help others.

Ban one person. Who's next? If you're not in a click, you could find yourself on the outside looking in. One of the reasons we are all here is because of one of the Mods on DT heavy handed actions on some members here. For the same thing.

this post is hilarious, like others have said Versadog does more with his truck than most who have a PW, myself included. I am envious of him and wish i could use mine like he uses his.

I agree, V-Dog and his dog are just fine being here. I have no doubt he's gone more places with his CTD than I have or ever will with my Power Wagon. Maybe his "tone" isn't what you consider appropriate, but I've never seen anything vulgar from him. In fact, on more than one occasion he's been very helpful. I appreciate his knowledge of driving in off road conditions, and the fact that he is a volunteer for Search and Rescue earns him a lot of respect from me.

No need to delete the thread - it's just in the wrong category. It's not about Power Wagons - move it to off-topic?
