Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Just started a thread on dtx trying to figure out if I can just use plastic walmart bb's to do it. Only concern is the winter time them sticking together if moisture is in the tire. But then I just read one guy used antifreeze with his bb's?? ....:| seems sketchybstefanic wrote:Will do. Was against them at first but the idea is sound considering off road tires when used start missing pieces quickly making balancing a reoccurring requirement... Beads should balance on the fly

I very happy with my air soft BB's balancing my 40" Goodyear MTR's especially since some people say they are a pain to balance. Got 14 oz first time and they work perfectly. So far so good. Be rolling around 3000 miles in 12 more days with them from South Texas to Moab, Utah and then Ouray, Colorado. Can't wait to test this set up out hardcore lol. Good luck. Like I said I would do 10 to 12 OZ in the 37" tires. I think I would lean toward 12 oz though or meet in middle with 11 OZ. They say it's better to put more than less. Did a ton of research before I did mine and it must have paid off because mine are doing great and I was thinking I was gonna have to experiment a few times. About time I get lucky lol.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Just talked to some guys and seems like steal ones are the way to go. Less of them are needed apperantly. Any reason why you went with plastic ones 05?05PWrockcrawler wrote:I very happy with my air soft BB's balancing my 40" Goodyear MTR's especially since some people say they are a pain to balance. Yes didn't want the extra noise, beating up my nice Hutchinson's lol, and the research I found said they worked better. But hopefully they will work for you. Not to mention the more in there the harder for them to bunch up or get stuck etc. In theory.

Somewhat of a plan. My brother will have his jeep JK rubicon. I'm staying at the Moab cabins.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
They also never look like crap like black ones do when you live on a gravel road. Black looks good when you live on pavement and after you clean it, but once you drive down your gravel road to your house it looks like crap again. I'll never own another black vehicle, gray, white or red from here on out. I know that sounds kind of sissy since these are trucks and made to be used but I like my stuff to be clean once in a while for more than a day.

Free lawn mowing in exchange for extraction? Gotta help the stubborn old guys...it's usually pretty funny what they get themselves into. If he was young I'd say piss on it & let him dig away after the first one...can't stand the slow learning one's.
