I'm curious ... What advantage did you see to the BDS Long Arm kit over kits offered by Carli or Thuren? So ... You got the 6" LA kit which gave you 4" of lift?

The bds was a million dollars cheaper. The design of bolt on was nice. And I didn't have to chop any parts on the truck to install the kit or weld anything permanently. I would have liked a radius are because they do flex like a mofo!! But their big dollars and the maintenance on the axle control shock is kind of a let down. Id imagine it's the same problem with all the bilstein offroad shocks and the bushings go often! But also a 4 link long arm seems to flex better over a radius arm any day. The only draw back is there's some more body roll ?? I don't notice but this is what the pros say! It sucks that you have to run such a huge offset with the bds long arms though....at least a 4.75/4.50" bs to clear 36/37/38" tires

I hate that the bds bushings and sleeves are so cheap though!! But the arms are stout and bad ass! Don't look like they will ever bend without a fight!!

No worries man! Pain in the ass sourcing all the info and trying to make a decision on suspension I can tell you I'm very happy with all the Carli products I've installed latelly. And I'm very happy with the Thuren products that I've gotten also! Bds I am just happy that the arms are stout lol keep that in mind.

Thanks man, they're a new ATX wheel...called the Cornice, very happy with them so far. Definitely need to invest in some bigger fender flares now though...at least no more rubbing on the lower arms.

Nice! How do you like the SS-M16 tires?

So far all seems good, like riding in a Cadillac after running worn KM2's missing a bunch of chunks. The place I took them to to get mounted used bags over weights so interested to see how that works...haven't gotten a chance to get up to highway speeds yet to see how they balance out. Definitely requires some fender trimming now though

Let me know how the bags work out to balance I'm thinking of trying that with my 37's

Will do. Was against them at first but the idea is sound considering off road tires when used start missing pieces quickly making balancing a reoccurring requirement... Beads should balance on the fly
