It's a slipper, It's one of those orthopedic support slippers. Did you order led clearance lights for it yet? I'm pretty sure you can get a scaled down version of a light bar too. That would be helpful.

Was wondering when someone would say something about the slippers.

Repaired 2 tendons. Pins in 2 toes for 6 weeks. Walking boot and crutches. :(

Pins are out. No more toe-kabobs. Have to wear a toe brace and walking boot for another 2 weeks or so. Foot is still sore under the front pad, behind the toes. Think they sprained my ankle during surgery. Swelling and pain finally went away in the ankle thank GOD!

Glad to hear you are progressing. Did they let you keep the pins? May be useful for a trailside repair.

I was happy to see those pins go into the can. That was a weird feeling having them removed. Pulled one straight out. The other was a 2 piece pin. He unscrewed the out section of it, leaving the other piece still in my foot. So now I got Ti in my ass and my foot. :(

I broke my ankle when I was 24 yrs. old and they put a pin and a screw that were 3.75" long. Two years later the doc said I'd healed 100% and if I was smart he'd remove them because they would bother me as I got older. He just yanked and twisted the pin as he removed it, worst pain I'd had ever felt, until he started unscrewing the screw with a 1/4" ratchet, it hurt so F'n much I passed out TWICE !

Think I would have put knots on that doctor's head after I woke up.

Gee, thanks! Now I can go to the early bird specials, and not be out of place.

On a side note. Spent last Thursday and Friday in the hospital. Had blood clots in my leg from surgery. My calf swelled up so big. I had a hard time getting my blue jeans off. So now I'm taking a blood thinner.

I'm on sick leave until May 1st. So I go into work to take care of a few things. The Op's manger calls me into his office. Asked me how things are going. I told him great. Then we went over my review for last year. Got a 3% raise. Then he asked me if I still wanted to retire. Told him that nothing has changed on that idea. They do not want me to go. Nice to feel wanted.

Keep some super glue handy while you're on the thinners. It's been 4 weeks since my emergency surgery, they glued me shut when they finished up! lol
