Figured since it's Christmas Eve I'd upload a couple of mine in the snow. Tried getting it stuck on the back roads were I live a couple weeks ago when we had a good snowfall and couldn't do it. Short of driving into a ravine. Also just got the green light from the insurance company that I can take my baby to get all fixed up and looking brand new again after that accident I had a while back.

Had some fun at The Flats this past weekend, it was cold (40 degrees), nasty (pouring rain), and muddy (slick red clay) but we had a lot of fun! We hit the trails, they were very difficult with the greasy clay! (had to pull cable twice and had to have a buddy winch me sideways to get me off trees I slid into three times, at one point I slid sideways down the trail, at another I dang near slid off a 15 foot drop when the trail turned but my truck didn't want to! You could literally put you vehicle in park and put the e-brake on and still slide down the trail at some points, it was that slick! One of the times I had to pull cable, I fell on my face right after stepping out of the truck!) I don't have any trail pics but, I have some from playing in the mud pit!!!

A day of this kind of fun:

Yielded this mess:

Which took eight hours worth of cleaning to get back to this:

Pic I took just after I winched myself out of a snow drift. Guess the first drift that rubbed my mirror should have been my clue not to continue!!

Look at what parked next to me at the bank a couple of hours ago

My wife wanted to ask him what makes that a Power Wagon, but we were just in a hurry to get everything ready for the epic snow storm that is going to hit us tomorrow.

Oh yea... we was in my wife Charger and not OX :(

I'm a new member and here's my 2010 PW purchased new, it's been a good truck so far. Haven't done much to it other than synthetic winch rope. I had the dealer remove all of the stickers when I purchased it. I've been running 35's for the past 47K miles and just ordered some control arms from Thuren to eliminate the only rubbing it has with them.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Nice... I wish I would have found one that color. I really like it. Blacked out lights, bumpers and like I'm thinking about doing would look killer on it.

Maybe we should all hide our trucks for a few days.

That's too bad, Mr.Dog. That is a pretty truck.

GREAT!!! They suck in snow though! We got between 1-3" yesterday (that's apocalyptic levels of snow for here, lmao!!!) and they sucked at driving in it but, it all fairness, a 12.5" wide mud tire, a pickup truck with heavy frontend, an empty bed, a limited slip rear diff, and an overzealous traction control system is gonna always equal bad performance on snowy roads. (yes, here 1-3" is snow covered roads!)

I hope someone crunches my bedside in so I have an excuse to do a custom flatbed. Lol. Until then I guess I will just rock the stock bed until I crunch it in which will happen sometime this year I'm sure.

LOL! I bet it will, especially with the kinda terrain you'll be hitting with your build!!!! If you want it done quick come to NC and come wheeling on these tight tree-lined trails, I guarantee we will have you ready for a flatbed in a weekend!!!

Im thinking take the insurance check and get an aftermarket rear bumper and and the recon black out head and tail lights I've been eyeing. ..

A better pic to see the amount of cave in.
