The Nanny stuff though, I think that's a personal taste thing.

It's like the need for a locker bypass. No one is going to accuse me of not wheeling my truck, and I still am not bothered by not having a locker bypass or have Nannies bothered me while doing crazy stuff yet. And I've tried.

I’d actually prefer to have some of the more modern electronic safety features of the newer trucks for daily driving.

The only thing I’ve ever had a problem with personally is ABS on loose surfaces at high speed. That almost totaled the truck. Easy to fix though. I never felt the need for a locker bypass either, but once I went with air lockers I found 2wd high locked rear to be TREMENDOUS fun lol. That would make a bypass worth it if I was still running stock lockers

Sharadon stage 2 545rfe with 3000 stall edge converter
Lots of other stuff lol

I like the '13... Sure, I don't have the 6.4L, or the rear coils, but I have the good front end, and 4.56 gears. Plus, '13 has the updated interior of the 14's... It's almost the perfect compromise.

I talked to the same rep at the auto show TwinStick. Can't recall his name either, but he didn't seem much brighter than the dealer guys honestly. Asked him about the 1500, and he didn't even know as much as I had from reading a few magazine articles/website reveals.

Then he flat out said, Jeep will never build a pickup... That's when I walked away laughing. He must be really "high" up in the organization alright...

Well........................................if it wasn't for us 3G guys buying PW's. There would never have been 4G's. Because in 2009. They wanted to shut down the PW because of low sells.

So if not for 3rd gen owners I’d have no one to BS with. That would be tragic. I’d have no purpose.
