I agree 100 %. I used to really like Chevys but my last truck was a chevy and it was real disappointment. Good tranny though. What type of work do you do Rusty? Sounds funRustyPW wrote:At work, we have a couple of ferbs and chebys. They don't hold up well and don't offroad well either. I've been called a few times on the radio to come and winch someone out.
When you have multiple drivers for a couple of company vehicles. Then you will see how well the vehicles hold up. Because the guys WILL try to drive them into the ground. We have a Polaris UTV that has been rolled 8 times.

I work in a natural gas fired power plant, Combine Cycle. The power plant sits on top of a hill above the river. Our raw water pump house is at the river. It's about a mile away. There is two ways to get to the pump house from the plant. Take the road which is about a 5 mile drive, or take the trail which is about a 1.5 ride.R0NAN wrote:I agree 100 %. Re: 2017 Raptor
Honestly if the tranny and motor can hold up it would be a great truck (raptor)!like AZ said stock and it can motor. That being said I hope they beefed frames up. Heard they were bending before the suspension was giving every inch it could also they need a better shock a more serviceable shock you need a lot of special tools to work on a fox internal bypass and ford says to replace them around 50,000km lol their about 6k$ for the old ones so the 3.0's must be cheaper :| seriously all the abs stuff and offroad nonsense just pull a fuse if you don't like it. Other then that as long as it can go and take a beating all the power to them. I like my pw just cause it's different and a lot of dough heads that buy raptors never drive them like they could so I say to them! "Soft like baby poo"
