Didn't make it all the way to Bay of LA this time, just San Felipe and Gonzaga Bay. Had an awesome time relaxing on the beach but didn't do any fishing.Black Pearl wrote:Chromolykid are those pics from the Bay of LA? Looks like the mid drift Islands!

Easy wheeling at Alabama Hills CA. Managed to break my smartbar to frame mount on the passenger side, but not an expensive fix.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Thanks olyelr. Yea no joke. One of my employees and I figured it out. Last time it was washed was end of sept last year. And that was to get one side fixed up after a deer strike. Fully repainted the passenger side. But I spend so much time on gravel that 'desert tan' is the more common color you see on it. Maybe when I linex the whole truck I should do it in that color lol. Washing it really shows the gravel rash behind the tires. And shows all the dents and scratches. But an hour at the car wash n she's ready for a night out.olyelr wrote:nts007 wrote:So many pics of awesomeness!!

Saw the crew off this weekend. Had a lot of fun!

These are some flexy beasts!

Didn't need that.

Definitely don't need that either.

Overall a great weekend in Big Bear

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Looks like so much fun doing that for a trip, we don't have anything like that here in the Midwest. That sway bar link can definitely get shrugged off but that mirror would make me sick to my stomach knowing how much those costs.

Nice shots from the trip! Ouch on the broken stuff.
Bummed I missed it but we are heading up there wed-sat. Was thinking about giving white mountain (3N17 a go). Have any of you done it?

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
So I installed all of my Thuren goodies Friday night. Took a little longer than I had planned, but everything came off fairly well. A lot better than my controls arms. I installed Thuren track bar, front and rear boogie bumpd, 3" front coils, rear shackle, and King 2.5 shocks all around with front shock tower. Like I said, install wasn't bad. There were 2 problematic areas I ran into.
1. The tap set given to mount the front resivor was crap. Broke it clean off. Used self tappers instead
2. The front shocks line for the res didn't quite fit through the tower the way it described. I had to turn it just a bit.
Otherwise it was ok. I am dropping it off tomorrow for a tire rotation and recenter the steering wheel. Rides good. Def different from stock. Update more once I drive it more. Haven't really flexed it yet either.

That is some nice stuff right there!!!!!!
I have same stuff and the truck feels very stable. With a full size spare in the bed the ride is quite nice.
What valving stage?

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Nice! Did you go with the gas 3" coils, or the diesel version? I really like the stance of the 3" coiled trucks!

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
I know the question is for stuble but they look like the 3 in diesel coils that I have. Hard to tell but the rig sits perfect.

I went stage 2 front and 3 rear.Black Pearl wrote:That is some nice stuff right there!!!!!!

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
They are the 3" soft ride. It's all I saw on the site when I ordered. It does sit perfect. I was worried it would be nose high, but i measured to bottom of fender and the back is about a 1/2" taller.Juday wrote:Nice! Did you go with the gas 3" coils, or the diesel version? You already had all the tires off, why did you not rotate them at that time (or maybe you are getting them balanced too?)?! Also, centering the steering wheel is very simple to do you dont need to take it anywhere for that.
Looks good!
