Nfb, looking good without the graphics.

Thanks, I'm digging the look of the MT, the ATs were nice and served their 54k mile journey, but the MTs just look better. Image

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Custom grill project is done! Bought a mesh grill off eBay (surprisingly precise fit and finish for a Taiwan special), ditched the fake chrome "bolts" and replaced with real mil-spec aircraft bolts. Then I took a 70's PW hood logo, trimmed it down, blasted the chrome off and painted it. Sanded the letters for a "brushed" look and then clear coated. Really happy with how it turned out.

Just for fun, here's a couple pictures of my old 1st. Gen. PW from 20 years ago. It still works daily on a ranch.
Seeing that old emblem made me think of my old truck and doing a badge delete on it.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Took her out last night and couldn't help but notice how much the logo catches the sun and draws your eye to it. I was debating on where it should mount in the grill, but I think I like the offset look. Besides, it bolts on so I can move it if I get tired of it in one spot.

Went out for some proper photos of Furiosa today, I know I'm flooding the thread with pics but I can't stop looking at her. You know that feeling when you put shoes on and walk outside just to look at your PW? I've been envisioning and dreaming about this truck for years so you could say I'm obsessed. :notworthy:

I explored part of the Applegate Lassen emigrant trail in Surprise Valley today on the California/Nevada border.
IMG_0615.JPG
IMG_0616.JPG
This is one of the trail markers. Sorry the sun was in the wrong place for this picture.
As the sun was going down there was a gravel pit with a pile of old asphalt that looked like a challenge, so I traversed it diagonally. ;)
IMG_0637.JPG
The challenge.
IMG_0633.JPG
The conquest. Tried it unlocked first, but didn't work. No problem with lockers!
IMG_0635.JPG
This would be a good time to change that rear tire.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Here's my truck the day I picked it up. Also threw in a fishing shot. As you can tell, I like fishing.
