Hahaha, no beer, was on my way to work after stopping for a slice of pizza, and I'm almost positive it was the truck, as I hardly felt it when she smacked it!

Parked up on a snow mound today. Monday we got about 4" of snow. I know for some of you that isn't a lot, but here in Cincinnati people forget how to drive when it rains. And its cold.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
13th Annual DeSoto Mine trail ride was last weekend on the 15th.
Had 12 rigs, 6 of which didn't make it over the ledge. Only front and rear locked vehicles made it without a strap. Earlier on the trail I'd destroyed a valve stem in the rocky section, so I was trying to get thru without damaging another tire. Still ended up with both rear tires missing chunks from the sidewalls, but no flats. The ledge has been hammered by SXS's - they've dug a huge hole at the base. It used to be a 24 to 36" ledge, now it's nearly 48" in the center with a berm thrown out from the hole. I took the left side line that has a long wall that you have to stick a tire on to avoid climbing with both tires at the same time.

I'm just along for the ride...

Yup, not in Alberta! We are actually a very diverse and tolerant province/country so people don't usually take offence to something like this.Graveltravels wrote:Not in this province!Bill2014 wrote:Well - many people would find that derogatory. I remember when Janet Jackson had her "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl a while back. Most of the U.S. was going nuts about it and most Canadians were saying stuff like "What's the big deal? It's only a nipple with some jewelry. We see more than that late at night on the CBC!"
FYI, the CBC is our government owned TV broadcaster.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Hunting around onnawebs for some truck info, found this site...
Picked up this '05 a little over a year ago, my 3rd Ram. Grenaded a serp belt a week after I bought it, and I've had the water pump replaced twice (first one blew in spectacular fashion... doing 75 on the highway with trailer in tow enroute to Jackson hillclimbs
)... winch needed repair... couple of little quirks now, but i'm working my way through them. Ball joints are next on the agenda. Been a pretty good truck so far, aside from the gas mileage (I have yet to break 14, ever).
K&N intake, flowmaster exhaust installed by PO. I put in a VS/Yaesu 8800 VHF/UHF, double-din Pioneer headunit waiting to go in (as soon as I get some time). Kicker Comp 10 under drivers side rear seat in a custom sealed box, PowerAcoustik 300W in the passenger side rear cubby (lets me keep the storage platform, my gearbag fits -perfectly- back there). Eclipse sunshade. Tekonsha brake controller too, if that counts...

What are you scouting for? I am itching to hunt after my trip to Wyoming in October. I am probably going to start predator hunting to scratch that itch.

I've heard of some wild Raptors in the area, but I think the Power Wagons killed them all off ... Didn't see a single one out there!Mpersicke87 wrote:He was out scouting for wagons. And that's a magnificent beast he was able to spot!
