4 Door Hellcat

Post by 04Ram2500Hemi » Fri Aug 15, 2014 10:45 am

So, need a 4 Door Sedan and want a little bit of fun? How about a Dodge Charger Hellcat?

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sed ... irst_look/

"It's official: The glorious excess of the 707-hp Challenger SRT Hellcat is spreading across the showroom floor to the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Producing 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque from a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat is a monstrous sedan that makes abundantly clear that a couple of Dodge's brand values are power and loads of visual attitude. The 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat, Dodge claims, is the quickest, fastest, and most powerful sedan in the world."

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

If I had to guess, I'd say you see the Hellcat in the Jeep Grand Cherokee next, and then maybe the Chrysler 300. Both of those are already SRT Vehicles, so it wouldn't surprise me. I'm not sure they will throw a 700 HP Motor in the Power Wagon. Can you imagine the parts that motor would break? Having all four lockers hooked up with 707 HP and over 650 Foot Pounds of Torque = Problems.

Word is the 300 is out of production soon. SRT wise anyhow. Take the Ram SRT 10 and put the hellcat name to it, that'd be sweet.

I know, I know. Probably see the truck next though, right behind the 300 since they're the same as the Charger...

So you're saying this would be a bad idea? http://www.procharger.com/dodge_ram_2009.shtml

What I read was that the 300 will not get the SRT trearment anymore. And it's do for an update.

Thats what I meant, no SRT. The Grand Cherokee SRT was also on the chopping block but it sounds like it will make it through.

2008 PW - stock with the exception of CAI, Superchips tune, LED tail lights, bed liner, tonneau cover, bed rug, swing case, and a black magic e-fan with override switch (for now). Now accepting donations for lift and tires!

The JGC would be awesome with the Hellcat and AWD. I have always liked the 300 as it looks very comfortable, so the little boy in me dreams of a super fast 300. If I had the money and needed a four door sedan the Charger would be awesome. I like the Challenger, but I've never really been in love with it. That's the reason 3 years ago I bought a Camaro SS over the Challenger (that and the SS was $10,000 less than the SRT-8 Challenger at the time). Of course, I also sold the Camaro and my 2004 Ram HD Hemi to get into a Power Wagon, but I've always been more of a truck guy.
