Hey all!
I just bought a brand new 2013 ( no mods yet) and man do I ever like it ! Beautiful machine! It's gonna make trips in the bush so much better (after I get over scratching it up which is. Inevitable).

So they went back to badging versus the decals? I really like the decals.

My 2013 (Black) has the decals, not the badges.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
The badges come on Laramie power wagons, stickers on standard ones and the tradesman model only gets a tailgate sticker. It's all about the trim.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Thanks for the warm welcomes all!
I don't mind the stickers but there were a few factors that determined this purchase
1. My wife liked the heated /vented leather seats and the other luxuries that came with the laramie(gotta keep her happy if I want to be happy) lol. It gets very cold in Edmonton in the winter.
2. I decided not to wait for the 2014 as it is has new features that may be problematic, no aftermarket accessories for suspension and engine yet, more money for 2014
year model compared to 2013's left on the lot. I wrangled them down to $52000 from $65499.
3. There was only one 2013 left anywhere around me. I just missed out on a lower trim model(black with red decals) for $48000.
The stereo and the rest of the electrical stuff that come with the Laramie(ie navigation/ voice activation....and so on )is a real treat. I didn't even have a functioning door handle in my old truck. Had to open the window (hand crank) to open the door. Even that doesn't work when the window is iced shut. Bench seat; the radio sometimes shut off on its own and could be re activated by smashing the dash(50%of the time) with a hammer fist. Got a few funny looks from other people to say the least. It was a beast.
This on the other hand is a dream truck and I am looking forward to enjoying it.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Gotta say one of my favorite things about my truck is programming the seat and steering wheel heaters to come on with the remote start on cold mornings... never thought those types of things would be important to me in a truck but I every time I get into my work truck in the morning I miss them a lot. I almost got a Laramie but a little too much for my budget, nice truck man enjoy it, and share if you like the seat coolers this summer.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Man, that seems a little steep, at least for the ones around here. I found a '13 the other day that was FULLY loaded for 48.6k. Kinda made me wanna trade mine in on it. Still a nice truck regardless though, love the red, always nice to see something other than the normal black like mine and a few others on here. Here it is: http://www.joemachenschryslerjeepdodger ... 33c9c8.htm

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
I'm going to assume the prices he listed were in Canadian dollars, not US. If that's the case, then he would have spent around $46,800 US on the truck. That price seems more in line with what they should be....Stickman wrote:Man, that seems a little steep, at least for the ones around here.

Yes that is correct . Canadian dollars. If I held out a bit longer I could have possibly done better but I didn't want to lose the opportunity to someone else.

I live in Edmonton so if your interested in wheeling your PW send me a PM as I get out with mine every couple of months. Also look up Knight Krawlers on the web and Facebook. They are a very welcoming group of off road enthusiasts in the area.
